Some of the field trips are: Going to Dayton's Corner or riding along the Erie Canal! The words "Jones Bucks" is written on the white board Its your "class money" If the class gets her angry she will erase one of the letters. If one person gets her mad she will give you a strike, and that means the person who got her angry will lose a dollar. I think she will be one of your favorite teachers!!!

OK, now it's time for tops. You know the math blocks in the pink basket in the shelf in the back of the room? Well, you can make TOPS out of them.To make a top, you have a 3 by 3 square made out of the blocks, then you put a cube on top of the middle square and on the bottom of the miidle square. Then, you use the cube on top to spin the top. You can battle with them (last top spinning wins!) and build better ones. That is all I have to tell you (for now!)

Miss.Jones is a HUGE Syracuse basketball fan. She also likes the Yankees. We have something called an auction. An auction is where you spend money on some things that people bring in. You have an auction after you get report cards so you have about 3. We make time capsules on the 1st day of school and you open them the last day of school to see how you have grown.
